Mary & McCoy aren't adorable together, by any stretch of the imagination, but there was a certain brusque sympathy between the two of them. Do you still have those notebooks of scenes between the two pairs? In your 'verse, did they ever realign the OTPs, or did they proceed merrily (or resignedly) onward?
