Dear Wonderful Yuletide Writer...
Hello!
Okay. To be absolutely honest, this is also my first year doing Yuletide, so you really can't go wrong! I love happy endings and fun dialogue. I don't mind a little bit of angst, so long as it gets resolved. I'm cool with gen, het and slash. I'm not picky about ratings either. G to R is fine by me.
So in regards to my first request, the Anastasia Krupnik series: I'd love some funny dialogue. That was what drew me to the books in the first place. I loved the relationship the parents had with the kids and Anastasia's internal thought process was so real to me as a kid. That being said, I'd love to see how the Krupniks are getting on when Anastasia's in her twenties, maybe even thirties.
The second and third requests are all about the UST.
I loved the relationship between Con and Rae (Sunshine) in Sunshine. And I would love to see some more dialogue with the two of them. It would also be fun to have Con watch her bake something. But, I'm very easy. I'd love some interesting discussion and feel free to bring in any of the other characters as well.
Now, In the Company of Wolves. Once again, all about dialogue. The movie version was so very fun to watch. If you could include that grim Angela Carter fairy tale feel, that would be amazing. And I loved the interaction Rosaleen had with the Wolfman, so if you wanted to extend the scene or write an alternative, that would be very cool. If you felt like venturing into a more mature rating, I certainly wouldn't say no ;-)
But all this being said, I'm super easy. Really! Anything you write I will love. I think it's so very cool that you're doing this and I will read anything you write and adore it. I promise. Most of all, have fun with it!
