SO many things!

1. First off - I have a job! Eeeee! I had three interviews on Thurs and Friday and I was called with an offer on Friday afternoon. It's a grade higher than I've had before (same pay, sadly), but it's with the county council working in their social care operational support team. Woohooooo!

I think I might get offered another one - they specifically called me for an interview because they work with a lot of American ex-pats and well, I am an American ex-pat (although I don't really call myself that). Weird thing though, during the interview they asked if I was okay working some late nights here an there for events and possible trips to London. I said, sure, because I'm pretty flexible.

The guy then actually asked, 'So, you don't have children?'

Um. I didn't think you could ASK that question! I almost said, 'If I was a dude, would you be asking me this question?'

Very weird. The job sounds cool a part from that part, though. It's only maternity cover, whereas the other is permanent.

2. I saw the house we'll be sharing and it's really nice. Our room is pretty big and the kitchen is big enough for a couple of people to cook at the same time. We're surrounded by orchards! Free fruit!

3. I'm really enjoying From Dusk till Dawn: the series. Please watch this with me, y'all. I've already dragged

fringedweller into it. Hot dudes in suits, vampires, South American myths, ladies being awesome, although there could be more ladies being awesome. It's kinda fun. There's also a kinkmeme.

4. I'm on my own whilst le husband is down south and I'm finishing off my notice at work. I've started the epic Life re-watch that I've been wanting to do for a couple of years now. Yays!

aj, get ready for me to fling feels at you.

5. I don't really have a five, I'm just coasting with relief at the moment!

It really is illegal for him to ask you that, and no, he wouldn't have asked a man that. I can only hope he encounters an uncovered man-hole as soon as possible.

I am now up to date on From Dusk Till Dawn. I also sort of hate you. (Not really!). Weird thing is, I had seen the man that plays Seth in something says before I started watching and I completely failed to make the connection. Which is weird, because rawr. Rawr, I say.

While on you own, definitely catch up on NCIS LA. So much Densi bittersweetness! And watch Agents of Shield. many cool ladies, including Sif. It does dip in the middle, I won't lie, but it ends AMAZINGLY. And there's a killer line in the finale that I just love to pieces and want to crow with someone about. Loads of killer lines, actually, but one in particular.

I thought he couldn't ask that! While the job sounds kind of intriguing, I don't think I really want to work for them. The other one is permanent and will be challenging enough. Plus it's very convenient to where we're living.

As soon as I'm down there for good we HAVE to pick a weekend to meet up!

The sad part about Fdtd is the finale is this week! Only TEN episodes! ARGH. Very RAWR. SO rawr. The SUITS. Dayum.

I've got NCIS: LA and SHIELD on my list for this week!

I know it's not legal for them to ask it in the states for sure! Sheesh.

YAY, JOB. Boo, not extra pay, but JOB. HORRAY! And omg, free fruit! The Parents are already making plans about their fruit yield this year as they got floated out on a tide of fruit last year. I'll poke for extra recipes and whatnot if you're interested.

Also, oh, man. LIIIIIIIIFE. That show wrecked my dumb face. I rewatched when I went to CO a few years ago, but should probably poke it again. MY HEART.

Yay! I'm so relieved. SO relieved. It's just one less thing for me to worry about.

LIFE! I watched Powerless tonight and oh my GOD. They have each other's backs and they just GET each other and they don't even mean to and *flails* BABIES!
