Hi! Hello! Howdy!
Life. Oh, life. So, the biggest thing is that I got a promotion. It's kind of cool! I'm now project management support for this big piece of legislation that has to be implemented throughout the county and I'm going to be the person on the other end of the phone telling people (nicely) to please get your stuff done. Eeeeee! There's a raise an everything. I'm a little frazzled. *twitches*
I've just started watching BBC's Musketeers and it's DELIGHTFUL.
I...have not been writing, which sucks. So... MEME!

Hmmmm choices!
Since I've been trying to get moving on originals and I like to share the wealth around, how about something from one of your originals - be it a Fake TV, TC&G, or the newer Ghost Writer/Ghost version of TC&G! And for the prompt of "You must become an island." ('Islands' by Sara Barellies has been in my head like crazy lately.)
Oh, btw - were you the one who joined GetYourWordsOut this year and dragged me over there? Because they've got bingo cards up and I totallly claimed 2 lol. I'm getting ready to throw up the cards - if you wanted to prompt me fandoms/pairings on one of the cards for a particular square that could be fun!

Oh, that song is GORGEOUS! I've gone for some Nora/Alec from the TCG - Ghost story. This takes place somewhere close to the end (I know how it's going to end, I just haven't written the darn thing!)
Alec's face contorted in agony.
"No," Nora said as she reached out a hand.
"Stay back!" he shouted, his voice faint and his image flickering.
"Oh, God, they can't be in the same room," Ellie said. She shook her head. "I don't know what to do. I don't know what kind of spell this is."
Nora stared at Alec and he stared right back at her, the blue of his eyes fading. Absently, she waited for that familiar 'wait and see' feeling to take over her, but...it didn't. Her heart pounded in her chest and she realised that all she felt was the need, the will, to act. To save him. His eyes widened as he saw her expression change.
"Nora," he said. "Don't."
She stepped forward.
