Someone needs to talk me out of writing fic for a show I've never even watched one episode of (Stargate Universe) all because I like the idea of Robert Carlyle in space being charmed by a blonde medic.

Seriously, talk me down, folks.

Has anyone actually seen this show? Is it worth a look?

Haven't seen it...heard the writing isn't particularly strong. OTOH, Robert Carlyle. :)

IKR! I've heard not so good things about it and am wondering how much I have to watch to get the gist of things. Because: ROBERT CARLYLE!
