Movie Quotes cont'

Ya'll are awesome and I've only got three quotes left!

I'll give you a couple of hints.

1. "Hey bank robber! Hey, want some advice? Next time keep the engine running." [livejournal.com profile] anodyna - Out of Sight

It's probably the only reason I keep giving J-Lo a chance to prove herself as an actress. I loved her in this.

3. "There was what, no one at the mutant hamster races, we only had one entry into the Madame Curie look-alike contest and he was disqualified later." [livejournal.com profile] shirleyann66 - Real Genius

Think 80s. Think 80s and physics.

6. "I already know an awful lot of people and until one of them dies I couldn't possibly meet anyone else." [livejournal.com profile] feelingdejavu - Charade

It's a classic Hitchcock, only it's not actually directed by Hitchcock.

Have fun! :D

ETA: How much do I love Jenny Crusie? A lot. That's how much. She has an irrational love for the movie Dodgeball too. This makes me happy.

I'm requesting Fast Women from the library this weekend. Did others enjoy this one?

Oh, man - is #3 Real Genius???

And I know I should know #6...I keep wanting to say Body Heat, but I've never actually seen that movie so that can't be it... :( :(

The first one has to be Out of Sight then, yes?

My theory for J-Lo's acting in that is that George Clooney has magical powers. He somehow makes other actors better, idk how.

I really enjoyed Fast Women, it is the hard boiled detective story done Crusie-style. i.e. with many marshmallows at the centre.

I enjoyed Fast Women quite a lot. It was one of the first of hers I read, so the humour and whimsy were a bit subtler, but they snuck up on you. :)

Okay, I cheated to find out #6 because it was just so freakin' familiar and it was driving me bonkers. Now that I know what it was - aaarggh!! He's my ultimate favourite actor and I adored her, too. I'll now have to pull it out of my collection and watch it again. (darn...)

(I'm not going to name it since I cheated but boy I feel better now. :D )

#6 is from Charade. Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant.
