Crossover Fic Meme!

I cannot remember where I saw this, but it looks like fun. And I'm a sucker for weird crossovers.

Give me two characters from two different fandoms you know I'm familiar with. I'll give you a dialogue happening between the two of them - no justifying how the crossover would work, how their worlds clashed, or how they could even meet each other - just a silly crossover conversation with no backstory, for fun.

Fandoms I'm up for: Star Trek, Iron Man, In Plain Sight, Being Human, Stargate: Atlantis, Torchwood, Doctor Who, Law and Order (the original), Alice, True Blood, the list goes on!

By the way, oh, flisters from the States, why has no one told me that the latest season of Law & Order: The Mothership has become the ultimately wonderful Mike and Connie Show? My glee cannot be contained! Oh, Linus Roache and your rather good American accent.

Is it wrong that in my head I'm picturing the angry sex Mary and McCoy are having as Marshall and Christine skip off to be adorable at each other? No? It's pretty hot. And angry. And a bit bendy.

But, see that would be the whole thing! 'Cause Marshall and Christine are only having their hot sexytimes because they think their partners don't want them! It's angst-tastic!

See, Christine went into Witsec after telling all about Korby's crazy experimentations and she and Marshall hit it off. But she's got a thing for the MD she works for but she can't tell him anything. Marshall commiserates with pie and then awesome sex.

dude, if you're horrible, i'm going to a special hell one of these days. :P

OMG, that's a complete dumpster fire of awesome right there. The ANGST! Them being all 'adult' and acknowledgey that they kinda have feelings for other people who probably wouldn't like them back and/are aren't in a position to pursue that and yet, they do match pretty well and are TWELVE KINDS OF ADORABLE and hot and sweet, and Mary's head will explode because she'll be all "ARG, they're that weird, smiley, pod-people ADORABLE and ARG, I don't know why I want to shoot things!" and Eleanor will nail her with a water gun and call her an idiot. And McCoy can want to hate Marshall on sight, but ends up liking him and feels like an absolute ass for Having Thoughts about such a good guy's significant other.

I WANNA WATCH THIS TV SHOW.

I KNOW! WHY IS THIS NOT ON? I have to think about this further, 'cause I'm pants at writing angst, but this has to be done.

IT MUST! I need Mary/McCoy snark and Marshall/Chapel lovin' while she's on a break and he's in between witness interviews where they make out in his truck behind the clinic where she works and oh dear god MY BRAIN!

Well, it doesn't have to be long-term angst! Or even really sharp angst, but more the achy kind. Bittersweet? Yeah, that. Because this would be them being a basket of puppies and rainbows and absolutely perfect together on paper, and damn good in execution, but with that little niggling doubt that they're settling, even if it's settling for a million dollars and a basket of chocolate. And worseish because they both know WHO they also want, and probably know who the other one also wants.

Also, Mary giving Marshall shit about lawmen and nurses and the horrible divorce rates (that she'll have to look up) and being vaguely transparent... Ouch.

Mary and McCoy, while temporarily nuclear hot, would be like cats in a bag. Wet ones. Surrounded by Rotweilers.

Also, CRAP. McCoy walking by Chapel and Marshall making out in his truck behind her clinic! And being Crabby. But let's talk more about the out-making.

Oh, it'll be pretty awesome. With awkward moments involving the gearshift and Marshall really has a thing for scrubs. Especially when she's doing a round with paediatrics and she wears the ones with Spongebob.

FOR REAL. There's just... I mean. *makes girly squealy noise* The third episode where he holds the baby? More than him shooting things, to me, that was the hottest moment he's had on the show. He's like, this amazing, funny, emotionally available prince of a guy who should have everything and anything he wants because you KNOW he'd cherish it and be amazed by it forever.
