i need some fine wine

I have discovered tumblr. I just clicked, 'cause I didn't know what it was.

It's entirely possible that I just spent an HOUR looking at pretty, pretty pictures. ([livejournal.com profile] vega_ofthe_lyre, I am looking at you!)

I now have to see Sherlock Holmes, Inglourious Basterds and Bright Star. They were already on my list, but now they ARE ON MY LIST.

And I still haven't seen the trailer for the next Iron Man movie. I am holding firm on this. (and sitting on my hands)

How is everyone else's Monday?

ETA: Ooooh. I forgot! I've signed up for the Mary/Marshall March Madness going on over at [livejournal.com profile] mary_marshall. I have a few ideas, but nothing super concrete, so send me your plot bunnies or scenarios you'd like to see. I'm totally open to suggestions. As you all know!!!

IT'S ALL SO PRETTY! And I have absolutely no skills with images, so I'm just admiring all the loveliness. And getting mad ideas. Mad, crazy writing ideas. *head desk*

I so want to see that movie, but am not a fan of the violence. Is there enough of the rest to perhaps fast forward if necessary?

Ah. The violence is... rather an integral part of the movie, though I definitely think it's worth watching even if you have to FF; the sheer heartrending crescendoing tension Tarantino builds up in every scene is absolutely masterful, it was a dream (nightmare) to watch.

I know! tumblr has so much pretty. I may have just signed up for it. Now I just need to find out how it works and start posting pretty things. [livejournal.com profile] vega_ofthe_lyre is a terrible, terrible influence.

My Monday has been better than most of my weekend, which was full of stress (http://silveronthetree.livejournal.com/36072.html) because I moved house. I don't have to spend 5 hours commuting instead I just have a five minute walk.

Oh, god. Moving house is the worst thing ever. I think that's why I always end up staying in one place for so long, I don't want to move! But yay for you! I hope you enjoy your new place! Did I read right? You're in Oxford?

Yeah, it isn't fun. I do like the whole new and exciting house thing but since leaving for university I haven't lived in the same house for more than two years, so I should be used to it by now.

I am in Oxford, yes.

Hee! It's basically this site where people post their images or macros or things they've photoshopped. A gallery of pretty pictures.
