I adore The Secret of Chimneys. It has the dashing Anthony Cade and his inability to take himself seriously, the entancing Virginia Revel, plus Bundle Caterham who I adore. There are diamonds and Ruritanian politics and mistaken identities and obviously murders and it mostly makes me immensely happy. (It was written in 1925 and characters are wandering all over the world, so sadly there are some horribly racist comments).
