OMG!!! Not to get too excited or anything (hah!) but as I said in your other post, I have been dying for good fic for these two, and this is perfect. Your Jess is everything she is on the show, competent and chatty and brave. And I loved you making it clear that it's not about the proximity for Becker, because there's a tendency to think it's one-sided between them, but I really think he has a thing for her and has no idea how to handle that. Every time he called her "Jessica" I got this stupid grin on my face. (And, somehow, you made me not want to laugh whenever Jess thought of him as "Hilary," which is quite a feat.) Also, hot. With the sex against a tree and such? Yeah. Hot.
And I loved what you gave us of Matt and Abby, especially how Abby knows immediately what's happened because she's been there. Basically, this fic made my day. I can't wait to reread it.
