This story just pounced on me and I had to write it. I adore Jess and think she is terribly underutilized as is Becker and I think the two of them together is just such a fun dynamic to explore. And I definitely wanted to include something where he makes sure she knows it's not one-sided. Because, you're right, he DEFINITELY feels something for her and has NO IDEA what to do about it.
