In which Seren flails over the new Star Trek film

I finally saw it. I liked it. I was not sure I was going to, but I really, really did. I generally have a problem with JJ Abrams but he proved me wonderfully wrong.

What's more, is my die-hard, very difficult to please, Trekkie husband loved it too. Which is very good as well. Although he is currently peppering his speech with all the Vulcan platitudes and language he knows. I've decided to just humor him for the moment.

I now have a scary little plot bunny bouncing in my head in regards to a throwaway line McCoy makes. ( Cut for spoilers and if I wrote this would people actually read it... )
