Writing Meme! Snagged from tumblr - let's do this!
FIRST — the first two sentences of my current project
LAST — the most recently written two sentences of my current project
NEXT — the next line. meaning i will finish the sentence I’m on and write a new one, which you’ll get.
[insert prompt here] — you post a prompt, and i’ll write three sentences based on that prompt, set in the same time/setting as my current project
THE END — i’ll make up an ending, or post the ending if i’ve written it
BEFORE THE BEGINNING — three sentences (or more) about something that happened before the plot of my current project
POV — something that’s already happened, retold from another character’s perspective
In other news, I woke up this morning in a panic, checked my clock and saw that it was 6:48am. I threw off the covers, grabbed my bath stuff, ran down the stairs, frantically turned on the bath (because the shower is broken), dashed downstairs, feeling HORRIBLE because I didn't call my mother the night before, because I ALWAYS call my mom on Sunday nights, and my husband (who was already up) looks at me very concerned.
Him: What's wrong?
Me: I didn't set my alarm. I have to take a bath in only ten minutes. And I didn't call mom last night!
Him: ...it's Sunday.
Me: No, it isn't.
Him: ...yes, it is. *shows me the date on his computer*
Me: ...
Me: ...
Me: Jesus effing Christ.
Him: Go back to sleep.
Me: Yep. I'll just turn off the tap in the bathtub.
And now I feel weird and panicky. Argh. Happy Sunday?
