Sam has just finished his last lap and is walking it off a few yards away from Steve who's watching the lines of the other man's back as he stretches. Steve realises someone's watching him and he glances over at Natasha, who just raises an eyebrow.
"Something to say?" he asks.
"Nope," she says. "Just watching."
His eyes narrow. "Is it so hard to believe that I might find a man attractive?"
"Not at all," Natasha says. "I'm a little surprised to hear you admit it though."
Steve shrugs. "I spent the first twenty years of my life thinking that I was going to die the next day. I figured love was a luxury that I couldn't afford to ignore if it came around. No matter the packaging it came in. It's not something you waste, right?"
Natasha smiles. "You know, coming from anyone else, I'd call that a line."
