Things!

1. I made this apple cake yesterday and it is AMAZING. Very light and my arm is still numb from whisking the egg whites because I don't have a mixer, but it's lovely. I'm off to have my elevensies with it. The apples, btw, actually came from the orchard we currently live in. Hee!

2. Yuletide! I nominated the following for Yuletide.

The Moon-Spinners (film) - I don't know why I keep nominating this, but there you go.
An Inquiry into Love and Death (Simone St James)
The Murray-O'Keefe Families (Madeleine L'Engle)

I'll probably offer for them, too. Plus maybe Aliens, because that might be a fun challenge.

3. I had fun last week chatting about random topics, so if you want to throw some stuff at me, go for it!

Happy Sunday! ♥

I'm so jealous of you living in an orchard! :D

I really must remember and do my yuletide noms. And my mccoy/chapel sign up. Can you tell I'm feeling optimistic about my writing this year? :D

Hmm. Ooh how about, do you have a favourite fic you've written for yuletide or another exchange? Not necessarily the one you're most proud of but the one you liked writing best?

I have never seen Moon-Spinners so I can't help you out there, but I will definitely be offering for Inquiry Into Love and Death! Loved that book, and definitely has some great options for fic I think. And Aliens is always fun too!

I have no ideas what all I'll be offering. Last year I just waiting until noms were complete and then ran a moc. I won't do the bucket offer probably, but I'll fill in all the normal slots for sure.

What I'd love is to see all the heroines from Simone St James' novels get together and have tea while discussing ghosts. ;D

Last year I just waiting until noms were complete and then ran a moc

That's usually my plan, too!

I would so totally read that book LOL. I mean even the "uncle" in Inquiry mentions having a book by Gellis so its cannon that they're all in the same world!
