Het Big Bang is BACK!

Y'all! Y'ALL! het_bigbang is back! Oh, I love this Big Bang and the comm. They were always fantastic to interact with.

So the eternal question - To take part or to not take part? I have a feeling Life is about to get ridiculous again (have I mentioned that we may be moving back to Scotland? again?), but I really like participating.

They offer a Little Bang which is only 10,000 words and as hiddencait has recently pointed out, my current Hobbit WIP is already at Big Bang word count. *facepalm*

So! If I take part, what should I write? Any ideas? Please feel free to throw plotbunnies and pairings at me.

Man I so TOTALLY miss doing Big Bangs, but with the original fic stuff, I just never end up having time any more. Especially for this round - I know 2 of the months it's going on are going to be all editing all the time with just a few mini breaks to get fic exchange gifts done. But gah I really do wish I had time to do it!


Hmmm choices for you! What about a supernatural AU (ala TCG to keep your brain still in the world) for one of your fall back pairings? Like Bones/Chapel or Darcy/Clint or hell even Sam/John somehow ending up in that town? Or a similar town here in the US? I dunno just the thought that comes to mind at the moment!

I know! I have a feeling that I'm probably going to regret signing up, but I think I may still go for it. It may actually be sort of relaxing in a way.

And ooh! A Supernatural themed fic might be perfect. Hmmm. I'm having a great time with fem!bilbo, so maybe carrying on with those two. *heads off to plot*

I have Not Signed Up to write my epic North & South/Pacific Rim fusion THREE YEARS IN A ROW. *sighs* Time, I used to have it.

I have no suggestions, really, except the idea that someone might make Hayley/Richard fanart is PRETTY DARN APPEALING.

Hey as long as you sign up for the little bang, it won't be so bad. and if it gets longer, then you can switch it to the big bang at the check in and still get pretty art lol

And that would be awesome! Fem!Bilbo is a total blast for sure. Oooo you could totally do a "mother of dragons meets hairy barbarian" take on it too ala GoT. That would almost be too easy lol.

Really anything AU will make this little reader happy - but it's not like I've ever been bummed by anything you do lol

I'm really thinking of going with spirit medium!bilbo and skeptical Thorin who,is forced to hire her to clear his manor of ghosts. Shenanigans would ensue! And it would give me a chance to experiment with writing some spooky stuff!
