My Thoughts on Hipster Who

seren_ccdI saw someone else call him the Hipster Who and I'm sticking with that for, well, the obvious reasons.
1. Winston Churchill - I thought the actor did a rather good job with him.
2. I think I like Matt Smith's anger more than David Tennant's. *ducks*
3. Oooh, creepy Dalek lurking about...
4. Bill Paterson! I've loved him since he played the father in Wives and Daughters.
5. Oh, Amy! Could you be any more wonderfully patriotic? *loves* And why don't you remember?
6. Oh, the Dalek made tea! Eee! I called it ya'll!
7. Amelia! I got chills. CHILLS.
8. Self-destruct by Jammie Dodger! Yes!
9. Oh, look! iDaleks! Oh, Steve Jobs, you sell out. Although, upon closer look, they kind of remind me of the ghosts in Pac Man. I really want a scene in a maze with them chasing the Doctor
10. 'Don't mess with me, sweetheart.' Guh. So, on youtube, there's this deleted scene from In Bruges in which Matt Smith plays this thug and does something rather violent to someone else. It's kind of hot. Why, brain? Why?
11. Steampunk Spitfires! Yes! I would like more of that please. Tally ho, indeed!
12. The KISS! Just aim a bit lower next time. ;D
Yes, I enjoyed this episode. It was exciting and pretty well-paced. Matt Smith seems to be able to do the jump from mad to funny to angry without it being too utterly manic. My love just continues to grow. And Amy. Oh, Amy. I have no words.
ETA: Does anyone know of anyone who's made an icon of Amy grabbing Eleven's tie? I really, really want one!
And it appears I've started an Eleven/Amy series. I've got four stories already planned. Eep.
