Well, I've decided that since I've upgraded to this spiffy looking layout that displays the ads of my choice, I'm going to actually use this LJ to document, whatever. Does anyone actually ever, ever click on those ads? I mean honestly.

People only click on banners 1.5 percent of the time, which is why you see those ludicrous "Click here if you want puppies to live" things.

I know because I place banners ... about as much fun as creating invoices. lol

Really? 1.5 percent? That's just nuts. I have to admit the banners currently on my lj are freaking me out. They are picking up on the topics I'm writing about and using those cues to decide which ads to place. I don't like it and it is really, really creeping me out.

And yes, placing banners sounds just as riveting as invoices. ;-)
