is this love or just confusion?

Hello!
Thank you for the lovely birthday wishes, y'all! I had a great day and weekend! Thank you!
So, the move is ongoing. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. No job yet, but it'll happen.
My Big Bang is undergoing it's last few corrections and posting will commence next week sometime. (check out my awesome icon by
silveronthetree! eee!)
I saw the latest Community episode and can I just say: Badly done, you guys. I found nothing remotely funny about Annie and Britta wrestling around in oil that was supposedly representing the current situation in the Gulf. The fact of the matter is that people are suffering down there, commerce had barely gotten back on it's feet after Katrina and has just been knocked back down to the ground. It is a real and terrible situation that deserves attention and understanding. It should not have been used as a backdrop for two girls to bitch at one another. Not cool, Community. Not cool at all.
I did not find anything remotely funny about Pierce's mother dying either.
The only thing I managed to crack a grin at was Duncan and Chang.
You are on probation, show. I mean it.
I did manage to see Haven. Holy crap show! WHAT?! EEEE!
And I now have a name for the werewolf series: Teeth, Claws and Guinness
I am having so much fun with backstories at the moment!

Ten-year-old Hannah stared at her uncle. "You mean...Aunt Gwendi's not human?"
"Oh no, my pixie," he said with a laugh. "She's as human as you and I. She's also just...something more."
Hannah considered this. Then a slow grin spread across her face and she said delightedly, "Wicked."

When Evan woke, he recoiled from the state of his flat. His couch was in tatters, the leather upholstery was in shreds and stuffing was strewn all over the place. The wood laminate floor had numerous claw marks and there was a rather foul smell coming from the direction of the closet. Evan got to his feet and swallowed hard. He wrapped an arm around his naked waist and stumbled to the bathroom.
He got the shower going and didn't flinch as the too hot water ran down his body. Harshly scrubbing at his face and chest the only thought that ran through his head was, I don't think I'll be getting my deposit back.
Have a good Monday!

I had fun thinking about the name. I did it while on the train over the weekend. I think the older lady next to me thought I was odd as the page had the words 'teeth', 'claws', 'fur', 'jaws' and 'Guinness' all over it in different scribbles. ;D

Date: 2010-10-11 04:47 pm (UTC)I was a bit annoyed by Community; just when I had been telling everyone how amazing it was, it did that. I hope they made a bloody large donation to the clean-up fund.
Haven is a million different types of awesome, but I think the best bit for me was the teddy-bear like Vince turning into a scary, scary man.

Date: 2010-10-12 08:04 am (UTC)I was so unhappy with Community. It was just terrible last week. They better
have done something to make up for the fail.
I loved Haven and am so excited that they're getting another season. Eee!
How goes the Big Bang?
