Fings!

1. Happy Thanksgiving, United States peoples! I hope you all have lovely dinners and eat some mashed potatoes and cranberries for me! Although, the best part of Thanksgiving? The sandwich made the next day out of leftovers. omnomnomnom

2. Watched Easy A. Loved it! Absolutely adorable. Is it wrong that I want Olive and Mr. Griffiths to meet up when she graduates from college and becomes a teacher? They then have awkward encounters in the break room and fun conversations about literature. And he maybe takes her out for dinner.... Never mind.

3. Word count on original thing: 8,567. This is what happens when I say 'Oh, it'll be short. I'll go for a minimalist approach.' *sighs* I really need to finish it this weekend so I can work on exchange fics. (Hello Yuletide and McCoy/Chapel. I have PLANS for both of you)

4. IT SNOWED TODAY!!! So pretty! And cold.

Happy Thursday!

Spooky! I saw Easy A yesterday! Mr Grffiths deserves better than Lisa Kudrow. Although, was it just me but were those the oldest teenagers you've ever seen in your life?

Ooh, brain twins strike again! And I really like Mr. Griffiths. And yes. Those 'kids' looked way older than my friends and I ever did.

Jumping in on the conversation...

I also thought it was hilarious the outfits she got away with wearing in a small town high school. A corset?? Yeah, there's no way.

Loved the movie though. And totally am on board with a Mr. Griffiths/Olive meetup. ;)

I want to see it happen so bad! And those outfits. They were kind of adorable.

Snow this early in the UK is seriously bizarre. I'm in one of the non-snowy bits but even looking at the pictures is odd.

It didn't stick to the ground, but it was certainly coming down at one point. So COLD. And me without my boots, of course. *shivers*

...Beastie Boys?

And Happy Thanksgiving to you! :) ...do you still celebrate Turkey Day?

It snowed in NJ today, too!! That's exciting. :D

Beastie Boys! Yes! Good spot. ;D

I don't celebrate it today, but the plan is to have a nice dinner this weekend with my in-laws. I think the plan is for chicken instead of turkey and I'm definitely making sweet potato casserole.

Enjoy your snow!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! You're right, day-after Turkey sandwiches are delicious! We'll be trying out ham sandwiches this year, since we had that instead of the traditional bird. (We'd had turkey two weeks ago for an earlier Thanksgiving celebration with some of my husband's family.)

I'm so envious of your snow, though. I'm far enough south in the U.S. that 2" of snow is a big thing (and doesn't show up until late February!)

My mom often did a nice ham for Thanksgiving. There is nothing wrong with a good ham sandwich. We are having roast chicken this weekend, so I'll certainly be having some poultry this week, so... ;D

And sadly, the snow did not stick, but it was so lovely coming down. We're in for more! It's a little early this year.

I normally don't have any thoughts on anyone from Gossip Girl, but I thought the fella was pretty good. I think I like him playing fun guys as opposed to broody.

And I just want more Olive and Mr. Griffiths. Pleeeease.

At the very least they need to have a heart-to-heart about how his divorce is not her fault.
