I am actually wearing green nail polish. It's very festive. :D

Well, it's snowing. And the birds are consistently running into the window in search of more birdseed. Which was given to them. Twice. There's a particularly chubby little blackbird that's hunkered down on a branch outside my window. He's kind of cute.

My McCoy/Chapel is beginning to lean towards angsty. I...truly did not see that coming. Hmmm.

And I've got a burning desire to fill a Sherlock (BBC) prompt which asks for teen!Mycroft and teen!Lestrade. I kind of want to go fem!Mycroft again where she's been forced by Mummy to attend an all-boys school in order to learn how to function in a man's world. Enter Lestrade. Angsty shenanigans ensue.

My Tuesday is boring and I desperately want some breakfast. Nothing else, a cup of tea, but I'm out of creamer and this is a Bad Thing.

It's brand new this year, the girls get taught all about manicures, pedicures, waxing, hair colouring etc. It's all very professional. I'm thinking about getting some false nails after Christmas, I've never had them before and they're really cheap.

How about a kind of Citadel thing - where Mycroft is the first girl admitted? A fair number of the Big Name Schools in the UK went co-ed just in the late 80s - early 90s; would be a lovely, angsty thing to have her be the only / first -AND- smartest.....

Ooh, yeah. CV-writing. Ick. I've re-written mine so many times now. Good luck! Have you thought about doing any volunteering or an internship like thing? I know a lot of places will happily take a volunteer or intern and there's always the chance it can become more permanent? In the mean time, you'd be getting experience.
