I dyed my hair. Dark brown. Reeeeally dark brown.

I've dyed my hair before, but this is the darkest it's ever been. I think I misjudged just how light my hair was originally. I mean this has turned it practically black it's that dark. I'm not altogether sure what I think about it. Husband says it's cool and I should go with it. Hmmm.

How long does this stuff stay in? Eeep.

I once had a similar experience when dying my hair...except with mine it ended up such a dark red it was almost an eggplant-y color. Not what I was expecting at all, but I ended getting a lot of compliments on it so I just went with it.

It can be so hard to judge the color of your own hair! I don't know why, but it seems to be a common thing. I always thought I had dark brown hair, and it wasn't until a stylist mentioned how light it was that I realized I don't. I'd wear dark brown clothes and wonder why my hair looked blah. Oh logic, what is that? :)

I think anytime you change your appearance it takes some getting used to, but once you adjust you may love it. Darker hair brings out people's eyes and brows a bit more, which can be a fun change. I think your husband has the right idea--own it and enjoy it!

It's actually kind of fun, now that I've had some time to live with it. I always wanted dark hair when I was younger, so I'm going to just go with it. :D

1. Amy is actually a little mad. Not...crazy. Just slightly left of center. She stopped caring about this fact when she was thirteen.

2. She's really rather terrified that she can't love anyone. So, she just keeps moving.

3. She likes to engage all of her senses. Touching things, inhaling their scent, tasting them when appropriate (and sometimes when it's not). That's why she and the Doctor get on so well. They don't want to just stop and smell the flowers, they want to stop, grab the flowers, immerse themselves in the flowers and then take the flowers with them.

I dyed my hair bright red 8 years ago, and I've sort of not changed it since, I originally had mousey brown hair and I'll fully admit it was Willow from Buffy influenced completely, it was a big change but it seemed to suit me more than my natural colour so I just went with it. i did dye my hair very dark purple once though and that really didn't work, swings both ways! If your husband likes it though then I'm sure it's fab :)

1. Molly is very smart. Brilliant, really. Top of her class and truly loves her job. She has never considered doing anything else.

2. She believes in true love. Not necessarily the flowers and hearts kind of love, but love. Loyalty and evenings spent snuggling on a couch with the telly on.
