I'm HOME! and Yuletide!

Hello! I'm back home in the UK and darn glad to be here. I had a fabulous time in the states and managed to not gain a billion pounds whilst still eating WAY too much. (Best meal? Fried catfish, hushpuppies, onion rings, fried pickles and fried okra, along with a gallon of sweet iced tea. What? It was in Mississippi. :D)

I'll post later about how things went and do an end-of-year wrap up, but first! YULETIDE!

Hi! :D Thank you! I had a fab time. Maybe too fab, I totally cried most of the way home (I miss my mommy :( ). However, it was really good to see family and my hometown and realize that I'm not sorry I left? If that makes sense. I just need those science guys to figure out the whole transporter thing so I can visit more often. ;D

It makes total sense. I never left the country, but I live ~10 hours away from the majority of my family. I feel exactly the same way every time I go home and come back.

I can't wait for that transporter either ("beam me somewhere, Mr. Scott"), because while I love being places, getting places can be such a pain...ugh!! :D
