Why, yes. I have had Rock Lobster stuck in my head ALL WEEK.

Write Like the Wind is on! Woo! As ever, do your best to write for at least 2 hours this weekend. I personally plan to write 3-5pm GMT on Saturday and hopefully again on Sunday, but we'll see.

I'm also trying something new. I'm trying to think of my story in terms of Acts, which is different from how I usually think about it. I usually outline the whole thing, but as I'm still feeling my way through things, I'm aiming for smaller goals. For example: Let's just get Nora into the house, make her decide to keep the house, let her meet the people who are going to become her friends and then the ghost appears.

Then I move on from there.

It's an experiment! :D

In other news, I tried haggis for the first time today! Since today is Burns' Night, my lovely co-worker, M from Edinburgh, brought some in with neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes). It was surprisingly good. There was a lot of black pepper in it which I liked. It tastes more like lamb than beef. Which probably makes a lot of sense.

Our other co-worker read a Burns' poem in a terrible Scottish accent, however there were no drams. And considering we were at work, that's probably a good thing.

Happy Burns' Night!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I'd never had it before! I didn't realise it was more of a mince than, well, whatever I'd been imagining it was. ;D This one had lots of black pepper in it and that was plain tasty.

I think it will help me move the story along as well as give me time to figure out the overall plot.

The haggis was a surprise. Not something I'd eat all ear, but definitely tasty.

Hee! Don't tell anyone from Scotland that. ;D
