Ugh. Mondays.

I feel very much like Garfield today and just want to crawl under my duvet until someone bakes me some lasagna. *flump* Head. Hurrrts.

They're putting this whole 'managed desktop' on to our computers (so they can see what we're up to, basically) and it's 'supposed' to only take 30 minutes.

TRY FOUR HOURS.

They started while I was covering the reception desk, then it went into my lunch hour, then for TWO FURTHER HOURS AFTER THAT. It wasn't like I had any, you know, work to be getting on with.

So I wrote some original stuff by hand into my notebook. So there. :P

Ooh, I made a collage!

It doesn't have a proper title, but the working title is The Baker and the Bounty Hunter and I'm just sort of going with the flow on this one. It's popped into my head more fully-formed than anything else, so we'll see!

How is everyone? Who votes we cancel the rest of the week and watch Karl Urban movies and eat chocolate and Italian food?

Gah sounds about like my Monday. Why yes I can take on half a dozen new duties while being restricted from overtime and unable to ask anyone else for help because they've had new shit stacked on them too. Of course, whyever would that be a problem? Ugh.

Seriously Karl Urban makes all things better.

Though tonight I think I've got the next best thing - my best gay roommate and I have a not-a-date to have pizza and watch Dancing with the Stars. I swear I have my first RPF ship on that show right now. I want Maks and Meryl to have tiny rhythmic babies. So so much. Le sigh.
