Hullo!

How is everyone this weekend?

Not a whole lot to report. The new job is pretty cool. It's feels like a good fit for me and I'm just settling in and going for it.

I'm attempting to write a little every day and that feels quite good. I'm in the midst of another Musketeers fic with Constance and Athos set far in the future. Their voices are just really fun to write. I'm also writing the ending of one of my original fics to just get it out there. I'll need to fill in the middle, but I'm taking some writing advice to write the ending and then write to that. We'll see! :D

I just read ALL of Simone St James' novels and they were fantastic. Spooky and made me ready for autumn. I'm so ready for cooler weather. This summer stuff is not fun. Especially without air conditioner. Bleh.

I hope all is good with all of y'all! Happy Sunday! ♥

Glad the new job is going well! I made banana nut bread on my own for the first time this weekend - I though of you and your epic baking LOL.

Great to hear you're back in the writing mode- I'm trying to get myself there. It's been a struggle though. My laptop is very near to dead, but I should have a new one soon. Hopefully that might kick my but in to gear.

Man writing out the ending has totally saved some of my languishing out in the ether novels. It got me to push through on both of the full drafts I have on the angel story and the psychic solider story. Just got me excited to get the characters finally to that place, if that makes sense!

And I don't know that I've actually heard of Simone St. James. What did she write?

Thank you!

And it's amazingly fun! I was dubious about it - but give it a chance, the acting is brilliant as is the writing and the scenery is fantastic. Plus - Peter Capaldi in a cape!

Banana nut bread! NOM! :D

I'm taking flex leave this Friday, so I'm going to try to bash out the ending. I think I know what I want to happen and that might actually flush out some of the other plot points I've been stuck on.

She wrote The Haunting of Maddy Clare. She's a contemporary author who writes stories set in post-WWI Britain. They're essentially ghost stories and they're fabulous!

Totally nom! My man threatened to eat it all in one sitting LOL

And whoot! I'm totally excited to see what you come up with. The whole concept is just awesome - I can't wait for you to get the groove back and finish it LOL

Ooo that does sound right up my alley! I think I'll kindle-fy that one!
