seren_ccdHere are my answers! If anyone has any other top fives they'd like, feel free to ask. I really don't want to work on the massive spreadsheet I've got in front of me and I really, really don't feel like cold calling people. It makes me feel weird.

I did two of the ones you requested.
'Top five fanworks produced for the ST Reboot fandom thus far'.
I have so many favorites in this fandom, it's embarassing. The coolest thing about ST reboot is the fact that if it is well-written and makes me laugh, I will ship it. While McCoy/Chapel is my most favorite, I decided to list the stories with slightly obscure pairings. and apparently, i have a thing for genderbend!fic
Burn the Maps It's a road trip with Kirk/Sulu. There's a big ball of twine. It's epic. Seriously, read everything this writer has written, you will not regret it. She's got a great story with allusions to Sulu/Chapel, which is my super sekrit ninja ship. ADULT
Five Times Montgomery Scott Had Less Than Big Brotherly Thoughts About Polina Chekov girl!Chekov/Scotty It's adorable and spot on. ADULT
Five Steps on the Path to a Shifting Destination — Star Trek: XI — girl!McCoy/Kirk — NC-17 Van Halen FTW! ADULT
The Village Verse It's been rec'd all over the shop, but it's so lovely and funny. GEN
after that long kiss I near lost my breath girl!Sulu/Chekov. Aliens made them do it. So dreamy and really good. ADULT
Top Five Book-to-Screen Adaptations
Orlando by Virginia Woolf - Dear God, Tilda Swinton is awesome.
To Kill a Mockingbird - I wanted to be called Scout and have Atticus Finch be my dad.
Titus Andronicus - Directed by Julie Taymor. Intense and visually increadible.
The Stand - I'm counting the mini-series as a movie, because, you know, Gary Sinise and Rob Lowe. Damn.
The Lord of the Rings - Yeah, I went there.

As you can see, I love Adam! And the show could have just had Joel nattering on while Marilyn sat quietly and I still would have watched. Chris could have come in from time to time and quote something awesome.
