Constance had watched d'Artangnan chop wood before, she was fairly certain she could manage it. Or, she could hold out until the following week when someone from the garrison came out to deliver her supplies. Or...

She rounded the corner and stopped, then sighed and shook her head.

Or she could ask the Musketeer currently standing at her door and knocking politely.

"You're early," she called out heading his way.

Athos turned and smiled at her. "Porthos was worried."
