I've enjoyed it these past couple years. Haven't made my word goal either year (though a lot closer this year) but still kept me a lot more motivated than in the past

I like the 150,000 goal. It's not overly ambitious and I can usually manage at least 200-400 words a day of something. And it keeps me fairly motivated, too!

I signed up for that both years, and have missed it twice now LOL But I'm so much closer than last year - next year I'm sure I'll reach it!

I missed last year and this year has been better. You'll totally reach it next year! I was lucky(?) and had that time off between jobs, which kind of led to better word count days.

(Thank you!!!! I've now picked out two treats to try to write and since my boss is basically away until after Christmas - I've got the time!)

Yeah the time off can definitely kick the word count up a notch! (And whoot! I grabbed a Pinch Hit, so I'm diving into that too, along with a PH for the Pacific Rim SS. And Fandom Stocking... basically all the writerly fandom things LOL)
