What song are you currently addicted to?
Blinding by Florence and the Machine and Love my Way by the Psychedelic Furs
What books are you currently reading?
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, Spock's World by Diane Duane, In Love and Shadows by Isabel Allende and a very neat patterns in nature book to help with my current writing project.
What's the most enjoyable thing you've done today?
Basked in the sunshine on my way into town to get lunch
What is the one skill you wish you had?
I wish I was an electrician. Imagine being able to fix your own electricity in your house? That would be cool.
What is your favorite historical era?
1950s-60s in the US. So much changed and the problems we still deal with today, were identified then.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Oh, McCoy/Chapel as always, Rush/Johansen from SGU (that no one watches, even I don't watch all of it, I just want to write for it), Marshall Mann/Christine Chapel, Robert Carlyle, the Bourne movies, Jennifer Crusie, Jack Davenport and I've got two little original ideas floating about in my head

I bought an Elizabeth Peters book for my train ride home. And I had fun pointing out all her plot holes. :P

Oh, god. Ummm. The Janeane Garofolo character in the Truth About Cats and Dogs, Abby? I even sound like her sometimes.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle.
Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Mexican food!!!! Digestive biscuits, Cheetos, iced tea, anything with ice in it, pie. Lime Margaritas on the rocks with salt. Waffles.
What is the best place you've ever been?
Hmmm. Vienna was pretty amazing. Friendly, beautiful, easy to get around and so much to see. Prague was a lot of fun, as well. And Bar Harbor, Maine. But that may be the 12 year old in me who loved it when I went on a family trip there. And there's this bookstore in my hometown called the Paperback Rack. It's a little slice of secondhand book heaven.
What was the last meal you ate?
Last night I made black eyed beans-sweet potato chili with lime juice and cornbread muffins. It was pretty spectacular.
Do you want to learn another language?
Yes. I'd like to improve my French.
