Well, Tumblr is a dumpster fire of the usual fannish proportions, isn't it? I mean, I think we all saw this coming the second Yahoo bought it (And quite frankly, even earlier than that), but it still sucks. A lot. The one thing Tumblr had going for it was if I only had about 5 minutes worth of energy, I could scroll through my dash and still manage to interact in some way with a few different people with some Likes and Reblogs as well as get a small dose of fannish/political/pretty/small animal posts.

In any case, I'm going to attempt to revive my DW a little and see what happens.

And if anyone wanted an update on my going-ons...

I don't even know when I last updated so... As of April this year, I'm officially divorced but remain in touch with my ex. She (he transitioned from male to female, which was one of the reasons for the divorce) is doing well and we catch up every few weeks. I'm still pretty close with my former in-laws and was even made godmother of my little niece!

I still live in Wales and love it. I'm even taking driving lessons which are...a thing. I hate manual.

I'm also seeing a very nice guy who lives a far way away in England, but things are nice and cozy. I'm so not ready to do the whole living with someone again and he's respecting that. He's very tall and very cute and has discovered that he's actually a geek and I'm having fun with that. ;)

Oh, I also managed to dislocate my shoulder and fracture my ankle this summer by falling out of bed. I'm not kidding. G** da** hardwood floors. So, I'm better, but there's no bounce in my ankle. At all. :(

Think those are the highlights!

TBH, the divorce ended up being more of a relief (for both of us!) and we're both so much happier.

It was a very interesting evening. And by interesting, I mean very painful and terrible. I'm grateful everyday for the NHS and the fact that I was able to be treated and not go into debt. However, it took them 48 hours of me lying in my hospital bed while my ankle swelled and I was saying over and over, 'There is something REALLY WRONG WITH MY ANKLE' before they did a CT scan and discovered 2 fractures in it. *sighs*
