Speaking of awesome women, I spent the weekend writing McCoy/Chapel sex-pollen pr0n over here (check out the other stories! HOMG hot!) and I read Agnes and the Hitman. Which I loved! There are more, right? More Shane? More Cranky Agnes, right? Right?

Oooh, Alice!

I loved Alice in the mini-series because she was so remarkably level-headed. Even when she was well within her rights to just give up or be completely overwhelmed, she kept her head (ha!) and acted rationally. She was clever and capable and so wonderfully honest. The fact that she can defend herself, physically as well as verbally, was so very, very cool.

She also has wonderful taste in boots and men.

I haven't had a chance to read Agnes and the Hitman. I was rather underwhelmed by Don't look down, so Agnes has been low on my list of priorities. Sounds like I should check it out.

Also, you are about the other only person I know who requests fiction books from the library. It's the only way I can afford my reading habit.

I really enjoyed Agnes. It was cute. Faking It is still my favorite, but this was a fun read. And I'm so with you! I'd never be able to read as much as I do without the library!

Janice Rand!

I love Janice because in order to keep up with the admin side of a starship, you have to be several things at once. Capable, bright, good at multi-tasking. But also able to keep up with Jim Kirk. Knowing exactly what he needs before he needs it. Janice is practically a mind reader! She's cheerful and upbeat. I love her because without her, the Enterprise would fall into chaos!

She's glue. Awesome, admin glue. :D

Ooo choices I have no idea if you've seen half the shows I love and drool over. Hmm apparently you've seen some of the sci-fi miniseries (that I havent.. typical) but lets try one of the others.

Oh, Azkadelia! I felt so sorry for her!

Which is probably why I do like her. She fights in the end and gets herself back. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her, but seems ready to be herself again. She won't just fade away, she is able to battle the witch and help her sister. She's just terribly, terribly brave.
