Life as I know it

seren_ccdI began my part-time job today. I have never worked in a food shop before and it was interesting to say the least. I will never, ever eat a tuna sandwich from anywhere. I know how it was made.
So I have this dissertation I have to write. I am leaning towards her being a photographer who has to learn how to slow down, to look, to watch, not just click at random. To study. Her catalyst will be James, the musician who won't let her take his picture. God, I wish I could visit New Orleans this summer. That would be ideal. Although today was boiling. Too hot.
Current obsession: the new Doctor Who. It is becoming embarrassing. I haven't been this interested in a television show since, umm, Buffy and look how that ended.
Must get to sleep. Have to go make sandwiches in the morning. Bright and early. 6:30 am. Why am I doing this again? Oh yeah, money. 'Makes the world go 'round. Some say love. It is love. Love of money.' David Mamet rocks.
