That WIP thing.

1. He's diabolical with the chopsticks. It makes her shiver. She's looking forward to introducing him to origami.

2. "Well, too bad,” the Orion said cheerfully. She tapped a brightly painted nail on the PADD and brought up a document. “Now, Christine if you answer yes to more than two of these questions, you are dating McCoy.”

“According to who?” Christine asked.

“Cosmopolitan.”

“Oh, thank goodness. I thought for a minute you were consulting something with highly dubious content,” Christine said.

“Well, she sure sounds like McCoy,” Nyota said wryly.

3. He was tall and lean and tan. So tan. Tanner than she thought Englishmen could get. Her father and brother never tanned quite like this. She watched as he handed off the line to the man who'd carried her suitcase earlier. What was...? Oh, a spear gun? He fished with a spear gun? Goodness.

4. It isn't the sound of his voice saying her full name that stops her frantic compressions. It's the sight of blood on his hands.

5. "Have I ever told you about the three laws of thermodynamics?" Marshall asked, his head resting on her stomach.

6. James Norrington is not altogether sure how he ended up in Bristol, and he's really not looking forward to finding out the answer.

7. The water from the faucet has become too hot, but she cannot move because Tony is right there, behind her and his breath is teasing the side of her neck and his hand has come to rest on her stomach.



Dear lord, I am so ready for a holiday.

Oooh! I want to read these so much particularly 1, 2, 3 and 6. I'm intrigued by #3, what fandom is it? For some reason James Bond comes to mind. And #6, any mention of Bristol makes me happy.

Hee! Thank you! #3 is part of this 100 prompts thing I started ages ago. I signed up to write 100 ficlets for The Moon-Spinners (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058371/) set pre, during and post-movie. It's an old Disney film with Hayley Mills and had a serious impact on me when I was a kid.

And #6 hit me a few weeks ago, what would happen if James Norrington met Annie from Being Human? :D

I've never seen that movie although I used to love Hayley Mills movies when I was a kid.

James Norrington from PotC?? Eeeeenteresting. Where did that come from? Annie fic is always good. If you need any information about Bristol let me know :D

Oh, I so will! And I have no idea where that particular bunny sprang from. I think I was thinking, 'Gosh, I like Norrington and he so got cheated in the films. Hey, what would it be like for him to meet Annie? They could talk about being ghosts together.'

Oh, you try to find Moon-spinners. It's a little on the twee side, but entertaining and simply fun.
