And thing is, I love them MORE as the series goes on. Because they just keep getting more adorable and closer and OMG, I loved "Brave New Pacifica" so much I BROKE MY TAPE because I watched one... specific part so much. I'm pretty sure you'll guess which part.

Also, despite what the DVD's say, "Flower Child" should be watched prior to "All About Eve". And yes, AAE will make you go :((((

Oh, this show is full of crazy and adorable and adorable crazy. Alonzo and Julia remain adorable (did you know that originally, Alonzo and Devon were supposed to be the epic love story? No joke.) and Devon and Danziger continue to fight and be adorable and occasionally hug.

Also!!! Devon totally (spoiler) just before she (spoiler) and then the bastards (SPOILER!!!!)

Water story: Right, so the show was originally shot in New Mexico. Deborah Farentino was supposed to go do some press tour stuff in L.A. and had to leave just after they finished shooting the water fight. She was all "Clancy! PLEASE try and avoid my hair because I need to do the press thing and don't have time to redry it if we have to do another take!"

Clancy, being a jerkface (of the best sort) totally aimed for her hair and makeup. Her horror? REAL.

And I love Julia/Alonzo and cannot see Devon/Alonzo at all. Just not even a little.

Ahhhh! I want to KNOOOOOW! I have this feeling based on some fics I've found that I'm going to be royally pissed off that they cancelled when they did. I saw someone say that if this show aired now, it'd be picked up in a heartbeat. It completely paved the way for Lost and BSG and Stargate, for that matter, and this is me only seeing the first few eps.

After the pilot, pretty much everyone went "...they have zero chemistry." The writers pretty much admitted they shifted scenes/focus over to Devon and Danziger because (bless his face) Antonio Sabato Jr. just really, really didn't have the chops. (He was just off General Hospital and HOT SHITE at the time - Oh, GOD 1994, how do I remember you!? - so he was one of the 'names' attached to the project.)

And yeah. There is :(((( attached to the whole thing with lots of impotent rage and "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT!?!?" Still, there's TOTAL D/D overtones to the finale, so there isn't disappointment there. (FOR REAL. THERE'S SPOILER.)

Oh, Clancy Brown! I had such a thing for him when I was younger that I voluntarily sat through Pet Semetary 2, despite its horrific and unique brand of badness. He's aged beautifully, but I still have a special place in my heart for him when he was young and ridiculously pretty.

Hee! It's 'seren rediscovering shows she should have watched the first time 'round' week. And he's just so TALL! We're talking shoulder-width here. Damn. I just adored him in Buckaroo Bonzai and have no idea how I missed Earth 2.

Oh, god. I barely got through the book Pet Semetary, I don't think I could do the movie, especially two of them. Even for Clancy. eep. :D
