"You cook?" Christine asked. "Why am I only know learning about this?"

"Of course I cook," McCoy said stirring a saucepan of spaghetti sauce. "Mother McCoy wouldn't stand for her son not knowing how to at least cook one dinner."

"To impress the ladies?" she asked leaning against the counter and admiring the view as he leaned down to get the garlic bread out of the oven.

"Absolutely," he said. He caught her eye and winked. Christine grinned back.

"Well, we've got a gorgeous red wine sauce with scallops, pasta, and a salad with homemade balsamic dressing," she said as she looked around the kitchen. "What else did you learn to cook that will sway a girl's charms?"

"Oh, darlin," he said. "Wait 'til you taste my apple pie."
