Bored. Bored, bored, bored. It's absolutely bucketing down rain outside, so I couldn't even leave the office for my usual fifteen minutes of fresh air. Grrrr...
So...Meme! Hit me!
Tell me a pairing, and I will tell you:
1. When or if I started shipping them:
2. What I think their challenge is:
3. What makes me happy about them:
4. What makes me sad about them:
5. What moment I wish had never happened:
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
7. My happily ever after for them:

Date: 2011-01-12 03:05 pm (UTC)1. The second she hit him with a cricket bat. :D
2. Rory? Kidding! Well, the fact that he's going to live for quite a long time and she won't is a bit of an issue.
3. Their faces! And just how they actually get each other. And how equally mad they both are.
4. They really won't ever happen. He's too old for her in a myriad of ways.
5. Hmmm. Actually, I think the show did a brilliant job and I don't think I'd change anything.
6. Amy can have Rory or Vincent! Eleven can have Captain Jack and River Song!
7. They explore the stars forever, teasing each other and having madcap adventures.

Date: 2011-01-12 03:11 pm (UTC)1. Their banter! When he just looked at her with that little smile on his face as she explained Jackson Pollack, just. Yeah.
2. He's Tony freakin' Stark. I love him, but the man is a disaster waiting to happen.
3. The banter!! How they truly have no one else in the world and do honestly love each other.
4. See #2. Tony is a destructive force in many ways and Pepper has too much self-respect and she's strong, but I don't know if she's strong enough. :(
5. He shouldn't have made her CEO. That wasn't a good thing for him to do in retrospect.
6. Pepper can have Agent Coulson and Happy Hogan. Tony can have JARVIS!
7. They flirt and save the world and she makes sure he makes his meetings and remembers the other 8 digits of his social security number and he saves her and she saves him.

Date: 2011-01-12 03:32 pm (UTC)Devon/Danziger! Because there needs to be more speculation about those two on the internets.

1. The way they listen intently to each other and then ignore what the other has said. Yeah, contradictory I know, but there are just sparks.
2. Letting each other in. They're both so prickly.
3. He's so TALL and she's so TINY and they just FIT. With SPARKS.
4. Devon is always going to hold him at arm's length as he will with her. There's so much baggage and perceived class difference there.
5. I'll be honest, I'm not completely sure. Oh no wait! I know. The show getting cancelled! That should NOT have happened. :D
6. Nope. They need each other. End of.
7. They overcome their initial snarkiness and transfer all that energy into the out-making and their kids get along and they lead the group together.

1. It's entirely possible I started shipping them after your lovely fics! And they just made so much sense!
2. Well, there is the little fact that she's his subordinate... Not to mention all their baggage. I mean, one divorce plus one robot-fiance is pretty tough to get past.
3. They are so stupidcute! They're both brilliant and they love their jobs and they never, ever back down in a conflict. Especially with one another.
4. Well, Christine is fiercely independent, so I could see them taking years before they'd ever actually get together.
5. Ummm, they didn't actually show Chapel in the movie? Or if we're going old-school, I could have done without the mooning over Spock.
6. Chapel/Sulu, Chapel/Kirk, Chapel/Gaila, Chapel/Pike then McCoy/Kirk, McCoy/Uhura, McCoy/Spock, McCoy/Chekov
7. They snark all-day in the sickbay and save lives (the captain's the majority of the time), then their nights are spent rolling about in a very large bed. Still snarking. ♥

Date: 2011-01-13 08:48 am (UTC)1. The second he started to tease her and she just gives him this fond look.
2. Have you met Mary? Mary is the challenge. She's so scared of someone having 'control' over her and while Marshall would never think to control her, she'd still be so hesitant.
3. They are such good partners! They're totally in sync with each other and have each others backs. It's just so much fun to watch.
4. Marshall may have put her on a bit of a pedestal and I'm not even sure if they got together, would it actually work out...
5. The end of season three.
6. Mary wasn't completely bad off with Raph. He was actually very good to her. Marshall could have a lot of fun with Kay from season one's episode Who Shot Jay Arnstein. (she was the mistress) I think they'd be cute. Or maybe Shelly, who is Fred Weller's wife in real life. :D
7. They remain partners forever and then have a slow, easy affair that lasts the rest of their lives. On a horse ranch.

Date: 2011-01-13 08:56 am (UTC)Evan/Hannah
1. I came up with the idea the second I got a flash of Michael Fassbender's hand in Karen Gillan's hair, to be honest. However, in the story, the minute Evan woke up to see a red-haired woman knitting in front of him.
2. Hannah's had a lot of people leave her in her lifetime, she's hesitant to experience that feeling of loss again. Not to mention he's a werewolf. There are some inherent issues there.
3. The banter! And the sparkage whenever the other enters the room. They just get each other.
4. Hannah really does have abandonment issues and when she does let something start with Evan, she's going to instinctively pull away from time to time.
5. Hmm, I don't think I've written one yet, but there may be an incident with a vampire.
6. Hannah and her friend Jean. He's actually rather lovely. Evan and Dr. Kelly who I haven't introduced yet. She's smart and very sympathetic.
7. The snark, banter and then fall into bed with each other setting the sheets on fire. She runs the pub, he does the taxes and they have furious make-out sessions in the storeroom. :D
