Monday, why so much suck?

Honestly. I've been doing basic website admin for years now, at this job and at my previous one. I had the following conversation with my boss earlier today:

Boss: I just want the links to the external websites to be the heading of the article.
Me: Okay.
Boss: You know how if a sentence is a link, it changes colour?
Me: Um, ye-ah?
Boss: Do you know how to do that?
Me: Do I know how to make a link? Yes. Yes, I do know how to do that.

I was aware of this before, but it's always interesting to see how much my boss has no clue how things work. Like, none at all. But, she's really, really good at bs-ing her way through it, I often think she gets it.

She really, really doesn't.

Anyway.

How much do I love my flist? Honestly! You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for the comments and ideas yesterday about the TARDIS. I know where I'm going now, thank you!!

I also mainlined Lewis yesterday, thanks to ITV, which I hadn't seen before. Hello, James Hathaway. I really, really like you and your tallness and dreamy, dreamy voice. Goodness.

I'm now seeing Lawrence Fox playing either Albert Campion or Lord Peter Wimsey when he gets a little older.

Isn't Lewis great. It is perfect Sunday teatime drama. They were filming it at work before Christmas - I was very excited but didn't see any of the actors but there was also this (http://silveronthetree.livejournal.com/46677.html).

Hmm. I feel as if he comes across as a little too obviously bright for Lord Peter but a good match in other ways but then Duh! that's what acting is for.

Every now and then, he does this little smile that makes him appear sort of clueless and unassuming, so I think he could possibly pull off the Albert Campion thing. Maybe...

LEWIS IS AMAZING. Wait, how did you miss me squealing about that show for, like, the entirety of December? I desperately want it to be April so that we get the next series. I think I've rewatched the whole thing like three times in the last three months. SO MUCH LOVE.

Oh, god I think it was always one of those shows that I always thought I'd seen, but hadn't actually seen. I LOVE IT!!! I just adore it so, so much!

I... actually understand what you mean. Anyway, yes! And I find it highly amusing that it's not really a show I can TALK about other than to go "IT'S GOOD. NO REALLY. IT IS." It's just so very self-contained. Although, I do love that DCI Innocent is more chill about Lewis and Hathaway. And any time Hobson comments on how cute Hathaway is, I want to flap.

(Also, I want Hobson's wardrobe. ALL of it.)
