Honestly. I've been doing basic website admin for years now, at this job and at my previous one. I had the following conversation with my boss earlier today:

Boss: I just want the links to the external websites to be the heading of the article.
Me: Okay.
Boss: You know how if a sentence is a link, it changes colour?
Me: Um, ye-ah?
Boss: Do you know how to do that?
Me: Do I know how to make a link? Yes. Yes, I do know how to do that.

I was aware of this before, but it's always interesting to see how much my boss has no clue how things work. Like, none at all. But, she's really, really good at bs-ing her way through it, I often think she gets it.

She really, really doesn't.

Anyway.

How much do I love my flist? Honestly! You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for the comments and ideas yesterday about the TARDIS. I know where I'm going now, thank you!!

I also mainlined Lewis yesterday, thanks to ITV, which I hadn't seen before. Hello, James Hathaway. I really, really like you and your tallness and dreamy, dreamy voice. Goodness.

I'm now seeing Lawrence Fox playing either Albert Campion or Lord Peter Wimsey when he gets a little older.

So.

Jet lag.

Totally sucks.

I could not go to sleep last night. Finally nodded off just in time for my alarm to go off. Grrrr.

On the plus side, I totally plotted out possible Yuletide stories. Yay! This year? I am prepared!

And remember Teeth, Claws and Guinness?

I have a complete cast list ready for posting. I've written 4,000 words of the first story in a SERIES and I'm only halfway done. I've got like, five stories ready to go after that one.

Now, I need y'all to be honest: Is this something people would like to read? I'm going to write it, but I won't post in folks aren't interested in my weird original fic ideas. I'm having a lot of fun and it's a great challenge to write new stuff. So:

[Poll #1645658]

Thank you kindly!

Why I read/write fanfic: Because I like taking the characters to places they haven't gone yet. I like making them interact with people they may have never met otherwise. I like the experience of writing with characters I love and places I'd like to visit. Because, I have met some amazing people while exploring fandoms. Because, it has inspired me to write and take my writing further.

And finally, because it is FUN.
