Tremendulent!

So! I'm compiling fics to rec over at het_reccers and I'm noticing a couple of things about the fics that I enjoy. For example, I tend to like odd pairings and very long stories. A lot of the fics I've saved are chaptered and quite epic. This got me to thinking about my own writing and stories.

I was considering my writing goals for this year and I've finally settled on them. I'm not going to focus too much on word count as I still don't know where I'm going to end up in the next few months. Instead, I'm focusing on research and original fic. Yep. You heard me. I'd like to write more original stuff and so I'm afraid the TCG 'verse is going to be around for a while. I'm also going to try to be more selective about stuff I write, take more time with the ideas, and do some bloody research.

You know how sometimes you read something and just go: "Wow. That was so intelligent. Everything fit together so well." Well, that's what I'm aiming for.

I think. This is of course, liable to change if the wind blows in a certain direction, so we'll see.
