WEDNESDAY!
I'm posting early because work is promising to be busy.
Under the cut I've got a reading meme (from somewhere) and the obligatory Matt Smith loveliness!

*sigh*
Reading Meme
Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack:
Something crunchy. Preferably this Christmas Chex Mix I make every year.
What is your favorite drink while reading?
Tea. Iced or hot.
Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
If I do mark the books, it's with a pencil. But, it's with little star-like things. No underlining.
How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open?
Dog ears, baby.
Fiction, nonfiction, or both?
Everything!
Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
Oh, I need to get to the end of the chapter.
Are you the type of person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
*thinks of her copy of Jude the Obscure probably still lying in the corner of her childhood bedroom in a heap* Yes. I do.
If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
I usually keep reading and figure it out through the context. But, my handy-dandy dictionary is nearby.
What is the last book you bought?
Someone has donated a number of Isabel Allendes to the local charity shop, so I snagged Eva Luna and A Portrait in Sepia.
Are you the type of person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one?
I've usually got about two or three going on. I'm beginning to get into audio books.
Do you have a favorite time/place to read?
Anytime, anywhere. Sunday afternoons are nice. Also on the train during a long journey.
Do you prefer series books or stand alones?
Both!
Is there a specific book or author you find yourself recommending over and over?
It depends on the genre. But, you really can't go wrong with Dorothy Sayers, Isabel Allende, Madeleine L'Engle, John Wyndham and Terry Pratchett.
How do you organize your books? (by genre, title, author's last name, etc.)
God, I wish I could organise my books. They are currently spread out over four houses and two different countries. But, if I could, it would probably be simple, like by author and then a separate bookcase for my books and one for my husband's. That way he doesn't have to be all embarrassed by my Harry Potters and Southern Vampire series. ;D
Feel free to try this one out!

I find it almost impossible to stop reading before the end of the chapter. It would actually unnerve me for ages. I have no idea how people do it.
